Canadian Youth for Choice (CYC) is supported by the Canadian Federation for Sexual Health (formerly known as the Planned Parenthood Federation of Canada). Canadian Federation for Sexual Health (CFSH) oversees all CYC activities, with CYC’s steering committee and general members working in close coordination with CFSH through the CYC coordinator.

In order to be a General Member of CYC, a successful candidate must:

· Be Pro-Choice
· Be Canadian
· Be between the ages of 12 and 29
· Be interested in advocating for sexual and reproductive health rights at a National level
· Be willing to adhere to the principles and values of both CYC and CFSH
· Have access to e-mail
· Vote every time there is a general membership vote
· Sign the membership agreement form
· Be passionate, committed, innovative, creative, enthusiastic, and work well with a team
