Beautiful B.C.

Today is our last day in BC.

We arrived in Vancouver at about 5 pm, and we were on our way to the Folkfestival. At first we were a little bit worried because no body knew where it was.

Strangely, the festival allows people to set up booths outside the gates for free. Amongst many booths we start our mission, spread the word ... not the infection. lol With our trusty box of condoms and our charter people, begin to notice us.

For the most part, people were positive... with the except of one man saying to us: Que sera sera!

First event!

After three days of driving, we arrive at our first event. The Craven country Jamboree near Regina!

It was a long morning because we did not know where to go. After a very bumpy ride out in the Prairies, we get to our venue. With the assistance of Stacey Urselesca, a local member of CYC, we start setting up our Know Your Rights tent around 10:45 am.

It was a hot, sunny day in Craven. People were arriving ready for a good time, in more ways then one.

Morning of Day 3

Our takeoff breakfast was very delicious! It was early but friends, family, and supporters made me feel excited to depart.

The first day was a long day of traveling. Darnell and I are squished in the back. I feel as though I am in a fort because I can not see the passenger seat, due to my suitcase and our pleasure chest.

We are fastly bonding, mainly by story telling. We have all met some very strange people and had very strange events in our lives.

The night before takeoff!

It is about 23:00 and I have not finished packing yet. Instead of completing my tasks, I went to go see a movie with my friends. side note... Transformers was awesome!

I am generally feeling very positive about my upcoming adventure. Ever since I took part of Insight Theatre, ( a pro-choice theatre troupe that travels the Carleton School Board singing, dancing, and making skits relating to sexual and reproductive health, for grade 7-12), I have envisioned travelling Canada and advocating this topic.
